Major League Baseball Advanced Media seeks an experienced SAN administrator to oversee the maintenance and operation of it`s storage environment. The ideal candidate with have experience with all aspects of SAN administration including fabric configuration, storage allocation, filesystem configuration, monitoring and problem identification and troubleshooting.
Job Requirements:
- Experience in SAN Fabric design using McData & Brocade switches.
- Disk subsystem knowledge experience with HDS, Sun, Promise and Texas Memeory Systems storage disk systems, including storage allocation, reclamation and replication.
- Experience with muti-reader/writer filesystems including Quantum StorNext and Sun SAM-QFS.
- Experience with large-scale tape library deployments and HSM system architecture.
- Experience utilizing storage management tools (Storage Navigator, EFCM, CAM, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of SAN, NAS, RAID, SCSI, Fibre Channel storage technologies from major storage vendors like Sun and HDS.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving abilities, with the ability to multitask and do in-depth troubleshooting; proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; skilled in working within a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- General knowledge of Unix system administration tasks (Solaris a plus.)
